About Me

I grew up in a small rural community in West Central Ohio, where I learned the importance of respect, accountability, and treating people the right way. Those values have stayed with me throughout my life and continue to guide how I work with every borrower today. To me, you’re never just a loan number—you deserve honest answers, clear communication, and someone who genuinely cares about helping you achieve your goals. Building lasting relationships has always been more important to me than simply closing another loan.

Helping individuals and families achieve the dream of homeownership is a career I’m proud to be part of. Over the years, I’ve gained experience working for community banks as well as larger lending organizations. I’ve made it a priority to become knowledgeable in Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and OHFA financing so I can help borrowers find the loan that best fits their financial situation—not just the one that’s easiest to sell.

Earlier in my career, I earned my Ohio real estate salesperson’s license because I wanted to better understand every aspect of the home-buying process. While I chose to focus exclusively on mortgage lending and no longer maintain my Ohio real estate license, the knowledge and perspective I gained continue to benefit the borrowers I work with today.

My philosophy is simple: an informed borrower makes better decisions. I believe it’s my job to educate, not pressure. I take the time to explain the mortgage process in plain English, answer questions honestly, and make sure my clients understand their options every step of the way. Whether you’re buying your first home, refinancing your current mortgage, or investing in real estate, my goal is to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.

My wife, Shelley, owns Village Chameleon Hair Salon. We have two daughters—Avery, who attends The Ohio State University, and Olivia, who works as a nail technician. Family and community have always been an important part of our lives.

When I’m not helping clients through the mortgage process, you’ll probably find me outdoors. I’ve enjoyed hunting and fishing since I was a teenager, and if it’s duck season, there’s a good chance I’m sitting in a duck blind before daylight with my Labrador Retriever, Ginger. I also enjoy chasing whitetails each fall and giving back to the community by umpiring fast-pitch softball for local schools and travel teams.

That’s who I am. I believe people should know the real person they’re trusting with one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.
