Homes are shown in the evenings and on weekends. Offers get written on Sundays. Buyers and homeowners have questions after work. Sometimes you simply need to talk to your lender.
Ask a large lender for your loan officer’s cell number and see what happens.
I’m not saying I’m available 24/7, but I’ve never treated this business like a 9–5 job. My clients and agents have my cell number, and when they need me, they can reach me.
Mortgages don’t always happen during bankers’ hours. Neither should your loan officer.
