Imagine taking your vehicle to a mechanic.
Before anyone has even opened the hood, you’re told, “Don’t worry—we’ll have it finished tomorrow.”
Most people would pause and think, “How can you know that if you haven’t even looked at it?”
Financing a home is no different.
A trustworthy loan officer doesn’t make promises before reviewing the facts. They take the time to verify your income, review your assets, evaluate the appraisal (if one is required), obtain underwriting approval, and make sure everything is on track before committing to a closing date.
Can some loans close very quickly? Absolutely.
But trust isn’t built by telling people what they want to hear. It’s built by being honest, communicating clearly, and setting realistic expectations from day one.
I’d rather tell you the truth—even if it’s not the fastest answer—than make a promise I can’t keep.
Because at the end of the day, a mortgage isn’t just about getting to the closing table. It’s about knowing you can trust the person guiding you there.
