Why Reputation Matters When Choosing a Lender

Not every mortgage lender is a billion-dollar national company with a massive advertising budget.

For a smaller lender, reputation matters.

Our business depends on providing a good experience, communicating with our borrowers, and getting loans to the closing table. We don’t want to earn your business just once. We want you to feel comfortable recommending us to your family and friends years from now.

That is why reviews are worth paying attention to when choosing a lender. Take a few minutes to see what previous borrowers have to say. Did the lender communicate? Were questions answered? Were there surprises? Would those borrowers use them again?

Rates and fees will always be important, and they should be compared. But the person and company handling your mortgage matter too.

When you’re making one of the largest financial decisions of your life, reputation should be part of the decision.
